These are a couple of samples from the Fall/Winter preview sets I ordered. I'm trying to figure out some swaps. The cake one is a new all occasion set called Year After Year. The flower one is from a set called Pick a Petal. Lots of possibilities with this one.
Below are pictures of how I did the petals for my flower card. I stamped the petal on Whisper White card stock. I layed the large oval punch over the petal and punched it out. It's a simple way to do the petals! You can hand cut them out as well. This just gives you a different look.
Try it with the small oval punch for a smaller flower.

duh!! I didn't get the petal set because there was no way I was cutting the petals out every time. The oval punch is a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
